Theatre Arts Courses
Did you know that Theatre Arts offers STEM educational experiences?
You may be surprised to learn that many Theatre Arts production courses teach physics and engineering; some of those course titles include: Lighting Design, Technical Production, Projections Design, Sound Design, Elegant Solutions, Advanced Technical Production, Scenic Design, Scene Painting, Pattern Drafting and Costume Crafts. You can also learn practical skills such as project planning, carpentry, painting, drafting, a variety of sewing, millinery, and much more!
Our classes are open to ALL UO Students. If you do not have the pre-requisites required for a Theatre Arts course, please email the instructor.
Theatre Arts Majors/Minors must pass all TA courses with a C or better.

Production Credits
Theatre Arts Majors: If you would like to enroll in Production Credits (TA 321-324) please contact Janet Rose to see what production positions are available for Spring Term. Janet’s email: jrose@uoregon.edu
To complete your Theatre Arts major, you have to complete three production assignments. You are encouraged to try as many different specialities as possible, but can do the same type of credit (example: TA 322- Costume production) for three separate productions.
